How I finally straightened my hair the right way

Good Morning!

After countless experiments with dozens of hair products, I finally found a reliable method that turns my unruly wavy hair to a glossy dream. This is for all you wavy hair girls or fellas out there, that can’t seem to get any hairstyle without a whole bunch of frizz.

Step One: Shampoo and Condition

I use a variety of shampoos depending on my mood, but if you want your hair to be straight make sure you really lather it up. I recommend using small increasing increments of shampoo and then follow with a deep conditioning.

Step Two: De-tangle

Okay so for this step I have to recommend a product… the wet brush has seriously made a difference in my hair care routine. I picked this little one at target in the clearance aisle. It fits in my purse and detangles wet hair with minimum pain and in a shorter amount of time.

Step Three: Blow Dry(but there’s a catch)

I used my sister’s blowdryer for this tutorial but any one with multiple heat settings will work. The key element here is the attachment. It looks like this and it’s really my secret weapon to getting my hair pin straight. I used a heat protectant in this step which I recommend but it’s not required.

Step Four: Straighten(Part one)

Now all you have to do is straighten your hair as you normally would. I would definitely recommend using a heat protectant again(or for the first time) so you don’t fry your hair. I straighten my hair the night before because I find that it fits my schedule better but always do what’s best for you. If you do this part of the tutorial in the morning you can go ahead and skip step five. Enjoy your shiny and straight tresses!

Step Five: Straighten(Part two)

If you decide to do the tutorial like myself, as soon as you wake up and start your day brush out your hair and head to the bathroom. Straighten the pieces that got wavy while you were sleeping and brush it out again.

Your Done!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

*Side note: I am in no way a professional hair stylist… this routine just really works for me and I hope it works for you too!*
