Today I have a New Year’s Eve Look for you. I still can’t believe New Year’s Eve is tomorrow! If you are on the fence about your outfit or rushing to make plans for a last minute party invite, I hope this look gives you some inspiration. I will try my best to link where I got the items. Ok enough chatting let’s get into the tutorial!
Starting off with a freshly washed face, apply your favorite moisturizer and get your makeup bag ready. I used the following products for the makeup…
Elf Prism Palette
Mac Rebel satin lipstick
Elf Brow Kit in Medium
Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation in the shade 120
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Benefit roller lash mascara
Eos Lip balm
Note* You don’t need these products to achieve the makeup look, all you need is a neutral eye shadow palette, a lipstick or gloss of your choice, foundation, powder and something for your eyebrows.*
I will only be explaining the eye look because the rest of the makeup is very self-explanatory…if you would like a more in-depth makeup routine comment down below!
Step One: Prime your eyes with either and eye primer or the lightest shade in your makeup palette. I used this one in the Elf Prism Palette.
Step Two: Go in the upper crease with a slightly darker shade. Be careful not to use too dark of a shade…save that for the last step:)
Step Three: Use the darkest shade in the palette. Dip your brush carefully and blend the makeup out from the crease into the outer corner of the eye. If you use too much you could end up looking like a raccoon so keep a makeup wipe handy.
That’s it for the makeup!
This is all I did for the eye makeup, but you can add a sparkle liner or regular eyeliner if you’d like:)
We are almost done! Here is the outfit I decided to go for in this look;
Top: H &M
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Wedge Pumps: Marshall’s
Wristlet: Pretty sure it’s from Target
That’s a wrap!
