Gypsy Inspired Look

Hey, babes!

Happy January 1st! Today I have another fashion post for you guys. I was inspired to do a gypsy look by looking up pictures of greek goddesses like Aphrodite, and modern day gypsies like Vanessa Hudgens. This look was easier to create because it reflects my own personal style. Products will also be listed under each category to the best of my ability. Ok, enough chit-chat. Let’s hop into the tutorial!

The Makeup for this look consisted of a lot of pink and earthy tones to create that bohemian vibe. I started off with my normal makeup routine(If you’d like a separate post with my full makeup routine, please comment down below!) foundation, powder, the works. I will only be explaining the eye makeup and blush in depth so this post doesn’t get too long.

Brow Kit: Elf

Perfume: Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

Stay Matte Powder: Maybelline

Brushes: Elf

Beauty Blender: Marshall’s

Lipsticks: Mac

Foundation: Maybelline

Mascara: Maybelline

Step One: I brushed on the goldish orange shade all over my lid

Step Two: I then followed up with the dark taupe color on my upper crease.IMG_2042.JPG

Step Three: I finished the look by using the darkest shade in the palette.  I created a more dramatic look by dipping my shadow brush tip in the shade and created a mock cat eye as well as lining my lower lashes.

I followed up with my N.Y.C Haute definition liquid liner and followed the mock cat eye line, I made. I then used Elf’s Lips and Face Palette with the rosy pink blush and swept it across the apples of my cheeks.

I finished the look with a combination of two Mac lipsticks(Angel and Twig).

and that’s it for the makeup! Now onto the hair:)

A typical gypsy depicted in a fairytale usually has long wavy locks. Since my hair is already long I opted out of extensions and simply curled my hair with my bubble curling wand.

Bubble wand: Marshall’s

Heat Protectant: Aussie

We’re almost done! Here is the jewelry:)

This was my favorite part of the look. Gypsy’s are known for their copious amounts of jewelry, and I had a lot of fun putting together this part. I went with bronze, pink, and silver detailing to tie in a mysterious and magical effect.

Braided Bracelet: Claires’s

Pink Jewel Bracelet: Target

Gold bangle: Forever 21

Diamond Bohemian Bracelet: Jean’s Warehouse

Flower Necklace: Forever 21

Chain Necklace: Sister’s

Ok now here’s the outfit:)

I only included a top for the outfit because I wanted this look to be very personalized. I recommend sandals or wedges for the shoes, and maybe a pair of ripped skinny jeans or maxi skirt for the bottom. Whatever floats your boat:)

Top: Charlotte Russe

I really hoped you enjoyed this post…look forward to more ones like it! If you have any questions or requests for my next inspired look please comment down below! Have a great rest of your day:)
